Job Summary
This is a key leadership position that will require building and maintaining successful cross-functional executive-level partnerships across the globe.
Manage and centralize the Deal Desk team & process that supports the worldwide sales organization
Drive enhancements to processes and decision making that will increase both profitability and sales velocity while improving operational efficiencies
Establish KPIs & metrics to improve business visibility
Pricing:
Define, publish, and manage pricing guidelines
Develop, operationalize and execute on a standardized pricing structure and strategy
Develop and execute on strategies to control discounting and improve margins
Deal Desk:
Drive deal structuring and financial packaging for business across NetApp’s entire portfolio of products and solutions
Lead & participate in account and deal reviews with finance, BU & sales while partnering with sales management to drive approval/closure
Drive best practices to increase sales efficiency and effectiveness via deal reviews, early checkpoints and enforcement of standard business practices and policies
Provide modeling and analysis to support business case ROI, TCV and/or License Agreement discussions
Remain aware of key market trends and the competitive landscape for NetApp’s entire portfolio to drive compelling client proposals
Job Requirements

In depth knowledge of financial deal structuring, ROI models, pricing strategies
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate and influence at a senior level
Ability to collaborate cross functionally and build strong working relationships with internal departments.
Familiarity with other sales operations functions: sales compensation, sales reporting & analytics, annual planning & sales forecasting
Required to meet critical deadlines while maintaining organization and efficiency.
Good analytical mind and skills to change data into information, proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint
Proven experience working in a high-volume contract administration department
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in business with 10+ years experience in sales operations, go-to-market or related function for commercial or enterprise companies
