Job Summary

The Marketing Solutions Architect is responsible for partnering with the Business Process Leads and Enterprise Architects driving the functional roadmap, architecture, design and testing of all changes related to systems in the Marketing Application Portfolio. He/she will lead and take complete functional ownership of the deliverables and partner with the Process and Technical teams on requirements, design, development, testing and deployment of capabilities to production.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the business process leads, enterprise architects and technical leads to create short term and long term functional roadmaps and sequencing of activities to support marketing capability maturity and automation
  • Drive design and end to end solutions to enable new capabilities like Lead Management, Partner Intelligence, Lead Distribution, Digital Asset Management (Content Management), Campaign Management, Social Listening, Marketing Analytics etc.
  • Influence, engage and drive cross functional projects and enhancements in the Marketing domain
  • MSP/Vendor engagement to deliver products with the right QA and technology governance
  • Help drive simplification of application portfolio, through application rationalization, architecture simplification and technology debt reduction initiatives in the Marketing function
  • Partner with Enterprise Architecture and Business Stakeholders to drive Target State Architecture (TSA) and Applications Roadmaps
  • Act as an advocate for project investments to align with TSA
  • Guide proper application of architecture goals, principles, guidelines, standards, throughout solution lifecycle
  • Facilitate project reviews with the Enterprise Architecture Review Board (EARB)

Job Requirements

  • Requires 10-12 years of information technology experience of which at least 8-10 years mainly in the Marketing and Sales Domain
  • Must have extensive knowledge of key marketing capabilities such as Customer & Channel Experience Management including Channel Lead distribution, Customer Journey Automation, Marketing Resource Management & Administration, and Marketing Analytics and Intelligence
  • Experience working with Marketing Applications such as Eloqua, Adobe Experience Manager, Sprinklr, Analytics Platforms, and Sales CRM systems such as SFDC and SAP C4C
  • Strong business partnership experience required, with proven track record of successfully driving cross functional initiatives and projects. Ability to present ideas, design and solutions to business and IT stakeholders
  • Perform feasibility studies, functional/technical gap analysis and map the business requirements to solution design. Identify and recommend industry best practices to address business requirements
  • Review and analyze the business requirements to influence and guide functional design and end to end solutions architecture
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects and technical leads to understand the current application footprint and standards and drive implementation of end to end solutions
    • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
    • Self-motivated and takes initiative without a lot of direction
    • Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical decision-making skills
    • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
    • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Education

  • A minimum of 10-12 years of experience is required
  • A Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree required; Information Technology, or related technical field is preferred
