Job Summary

We are looking for a Portfolio Marketing Manager to market initiatives and promotions that span our full product portfolio. In this role you will develop and execute marketing plans to establish, enhance and distinguish the NetApp portfolio of products. This includes developing messaging and portfolio positioning for the marketplace, NetApp Sales and NetApp Channel organizations. You will be responsible for creating the most compelling content to help customers understand our value proposition and building the right programs to increase awareness and adoption. This position oversees market research, monitors competitive activity. This is a highly cross-functional position where you will partner closely with Product, Digital, Field Marketing, and Campaigns teams. 

Job Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills. 
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work both independently and on cross functional teams. 
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote areas.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
  • Strong understanding of services technologies/concepts in the enterprise data center environments.

 

Responsibility: 

  • The tasks this individual is responsible for are often non-routine and unstructured, requiring creative solutions.
  • This individual will apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving routine to moderately complex problems. 
  • This individual must work effectively with Staff to Vice President level employees within the function, and the technical team on assigned projects. There may be communication with employees in other functions as required.
  • Limited management direction is provided to employee on new projects or assignments as well as review of activities and priorities.
  • The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor and subject matter expert on team projects.
Education

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent work experience.
