Job Summary

The Senior Manager Marketing Budget Operations, reporting to the Director of Marketing Operations & Chief of Staff, drives operational efficiency and execution by developing process and tools that optimize and enable our Marketing organization.

This role will drive the evolution of marketing planning and management processes building a well-defined integrated marketing plan driving alignment with goals, investments and outcomes.  This role will have direct reports (Budget Managers) and act as the Team Lead and work with internal partners and external stakeholders to deliver operational excellence in budget planning and resource allocation.

  • Establish best in class, closed-loop budget allocation and distribution process
  • Partner with finance to provide regular insights and information transparency to marketing leadership
  • Develop and manage annual and quarterly strategic budget planning process
  • Lead the weekly budget & finance meetings
  • Manage the global marketing budget team (includes contractors)
  • Establish monthly reporting cadence to demonstrate control of plan execution, provide reports for Marketing MBR and QBR meetings
  • Build and manage processes for tracking T&E budgets
Job Requirements
  • Strategic thinker and excellent project manager with experience in operations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with keen attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Analytical mindset with experience with data-driven decision making
  • Self-motivated with ability to thrive in an evolving organization
  • Experience motivating and managing teams with a positive, can do attitude
  • Effective communicator engaging with multiple roles throughout the organization
  • Executive presence and experience in executive level interactions and presentations
  • Strong relationship building and leadership skills
Education
BS/BA degree or equivalent related experience. 8+ years -- plus add additional experience requirements needed if you were to fill an open requisition, i.e., knowledge, skills, and abilities.
