We provide a full range of hybrid cloud data services that simplify management of applications and data across cloud and on-premises environments to accelerate digital transformation. NetApp is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our SolidFire division’s All Flash Array and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) storage development team. NetApp SolidFire’s product is a rapidly growing enterprise class data storage solution specifically designed for large scale, public and private cloud deployments. This is a great opportunity to work on a high-powered team delivering an industry changing product within an extremely high growth sector of the tech industry.

Job Requirements

What you will do

  • Design and develop reliable, scalable, and maintainable code
  • Develop and deploy automated test processes
  • Diagnose, debug, and perform root­ cause analysis on defects
  • Work within Agile scrum teams operating in the Scaled Agile (SAFe) framework

What skillsets you may posses

  • Software development experience with C, C++, GO or Python
  • Experience in multithreading and concurrency
  • Experience building distributed systems
  • Experience with Docker, container orchestration, microservices based architectures
  • Experience with Linux
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science, or a Master’s Degree



You might also posses

  • Prior experience in security using OAuth, SAML, Access control, Identity management and Key management services (KMS), Cryptographic libraries and PKI is a big plus!
  • Experience with Block and/or File System (NFS) based storage systems
  • Experience with containers (for example Docker) and microservices
  • Agile/Scrum/SAFe knowledge and experience
