Job Summary

The Solutions Architect is responsible for partnering with the Business Process Leads and Enterprise Architects driving the functional roadmap, architecture, design and testing of all changes related to systems in the Marketing, Channels and Virtual Sales Application Portfolio. He/she will lead and take complete functional ownership of the deliverables and partner with the Process and Technical teams on requirements, design, development, testing and deployment of capabilities to production.  



Partner with the business process leads, enterprise architects and technical leads to create short term and long term functional roadmaps and sequencing of activities to support sales capability maturity and automation

Drive design and end to end solutions to enable existing and new capabilities like Opportunity Management, Deal Registration, Channel and Partner Enablement, and Account Management etc.

Influence, engage and drive cross functional projects and enhancements in the Sales domain

MSP/Vendor engagement to deliver products with the right QA and technology governance

Help drive simplification of application portfolio, through application rationalization, architecture simplification and technology debt reduction initiatives in the Sales function

Partner with Enterprise Architecture and Business Stakeholders to drive Target State Architecture (TSA) and Applications Roadmaps

Job Requirements

Must have extensive knowledge of key business capabilities such as Opportunity Management, Deal Registration, Channel and Partner Enablement, and Account Management, Pipeline Management

Experience working with Marketing and Channels Applications such as SAP C4C, SFDC, Marketo, Eloqua, PRM Systems, Insidesales.com

Strong business partnership experience required, with proven track record of successfully driving cross functional initiatives and projects. Ability to present ideas, design and solutions to business and IT stakeholders

Perform feasibility studies, functional/technical gap analysis and map the business requirements to solution design. Identify and recommend industry best practices to address business requirements


Requires 8-10 years of information technology experience of which at least 6-8 years mainly in the Sales Domain

Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree required; Information Technology, or related technical field is preferred
