Job Summary

The IT Solutions Architect is responsible for partnering with the Business Process Architects and driving the applications roadmap and functional & solutions design. He/she will lead and take complete functional ownership of the deliverables and partner with the Process and Technical teams on requirements, design, development, testing and deployment of capabilities to production. The right candidate will have a functional understanding of the Quote To Invoice and Operations domain.

Job Requirements

The IT Solutions Architect will focus primarily on Quote to Invoice and Operations domain. Specific areas of responsibilities include:

  • Partner with Enterprise Architects & Business Relationship Managers on the multi-year Service Strategy and Target State Architecture
  • Participate, influence and drive cross functional initiatives and enhancements in the Quote To Invoice and Operations domain
  • Translate business requirements into solution designs, which may include conceptual, logical and physical views of the architecture
  • Develop solution architecture requirements, both functional and non-functional, for both packaged Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) packages and bespoke solutions development
  • Lead solutions architecture to create standardized design artifacts in alignment with EA domain guidelines and standards; provide feedback to EA to improve domain guidelines and standards
  • Lead the review of the solution with internal and external stakeholders, including Domain Architect, Delivery teams, and Enterprise Architecture Review Board
  • Drive POCs, evaluation and selection of software products and solutions (including Market Intelligence)

Job Requirements:

  • Requires 12-14 years of information technology experience of which at least 8-10 years mainly in Quote to Invoice domain
  • Must have extensive knowledge of new product introduction (NPI) and product release processes.
  • Strong business partnership with proven track record of successfully driving cross functional initiatives and projects
  • Experience working in the Oracle Cloud CPQ and Oracle EBS environments
  • Good functional and technical knowledge of the Oracle Configurator, Pricing, Quoting, Order Management and Invoicing
  • Experience with e-Commerce such as Oracle Commerce Cloud is preferred
  • Technical skills in the Oracle developer tool set, and integration experience in quoting and pricing, is highly desirable
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to present ideas to disparate stakeholders
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and analytical decision-making skills
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • A minimum of 10-12 years of experience is required
  • A Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree required; Information Technology, or related technical field is preferred
