Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, nurture and expand our NetApp cloud relationship and integrations with
    • Strategic cloud partners (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). This requires the ability to represent the product direction and identify joint value propositions with internal & external technical teams.
    • Targeted ISVs focused on cloud-native and multi-cloud approaches. This includes developing and executing new strategies for this segment.
    • And a broader ecosystem strategy that enables NetApp technologies to reach cloud-first and cloud native users.
  • Manage coordination with internal teams and technology partners on delivery and integration of key initiatives
  • Evangelize NetApp cloud products and partner-built solutions to cloud-native audiences and traditional workloads making their first moves to the public cloud
  • Identify and qualify new partnerships working with cross-team from engineering, sales, and NetApp product teams
  • Exhibit a deep understanding of NetApp cloud products including differentiation, benefits.
  • Effectively communicate and coordinate with key stakeholders

Desired Background

  • Worked closely with public cloud engineering and product teams either through past collaboration or as a team member
  • Understanding of containers, Kubernetes, and/or traditional scale-up workloads moving to the cloud.
  • Ability to evaluate opportunistic product ideas
  • Business acumen and ability to build the business case and communicate new/changes in product strategy.

You will work with stakeholders within NetApp (software engineers, SRE teams, sales/marketing), external partners (public cloud, ISVs), and of course customers. You will take care of them and they will take care of you.

BS/BA degree or equivalent related experience 15+ years -- plus add additional experience requirements needed if you were to fill an open requisition, i.e., knowledge, skills, and abilities.
