Job Summary

As a member of the Business Intelligence & Data Warehouse team, data analyst will perform data profiling, mapping, and modeling as part of a variety of tasks related to collecting, organizing and interpreting data. The analyst will be responsible for inspecting, cleansing, transforming and modeling data and will deal with uncertainty about data information completeness and quality. He or she will play a dominant role in developing and supporting scalable business intelligence, advanced analytics, data integration and master data management efforts, using right technology and consistent Architecture approach and will be involved with traditional application development projects where necessary.

Job Requirements

Hands on Data analysis, Data modeling, ETL design, architecture and implementation experience in DWBI Solutions like Hana, Incorta and Oracle

Prior Hands-on development experience in Informatica Power center ETL tool

Firm understanding of Dimensional data modeling and Data warehousing concepts

Good technical understanding of Oracle ERP (EBS) Application is required

Expert knowledge in SQL, building complex queries and joins

Hands-on experience with BI reporting tools such as OBIEE, Tableau etc

Must understand the difference between relational and dimensional data modeling

Lead requirements gathering meetings to translate analysis and reporting requirements into data requirements

Assist with the development of financial models, revenue m and other internal & external reporting needs

Source to target mapping experience: must be able to understand and identify details about the source and target data and what transformational logic needs to occur.

Familiarity with common policies around data masking and protection schemes

Education

Degree or equivalent experience

10-12 year of experience in delivering BI and data warehousing Solutions in a technical lead role
