Job Summary
NetApp provides enterprise-grade data management solutions through AWS FSx for NetApp ONTAP. Our growing public cloud services team seeks a technical solutions architect to drive adoption across the energy sectors in the Central US region. This role will focus on helping customers modernize their operations through cloud-native data solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
•    Design and architect cloud solutions for energy customers transitioning workloads to AWS
•    Conduct technical workshops and proof-of-concepts demonstrating FSx for ONTAP’s capabilities in industrial environments
•    Partner with AWS field teams to identify and qualify opportunities within target verticals
•    Evangelize NetApp’s cloud solutions at industry events and customer executive briefings
•    Develop reference architectures and technical content focused on energy use cases
•    Maintain technical expertise in cloud services, particularly around industrial IoT, digital twin, and analytics workloads
Requirements
•    5+ years of experience in technical solutions, preferably with exposure to the energy sector
•    Strong understanding of cloud architecture and AWS services
•    Experience conducting customer-facing technical workshops and proof-of-concepts
•    Familiarity with container technologies and orchestration platforms
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•    AWS certification preferred but not required
•    Ability to travel up to 30% within the Central US region

Education

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 171,530 - 221,980 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. The range is based on 'On Target Earnings’ (OTE) representing the total potential earnings, which is the sum of the base salary and potential commission earned when performance targets are achieved. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s).
