Job Summary

 

NetApp offers exciting careers in Inside Sales: We are looking for high-energy, proactive sales professional to join NetApp's new Cloud Data Services sales spearhead. 

In this job you will be driving new business opportunities as well as expanding our wallet share within both new and existing customers in EMEA. This is a also a great opporunity for system engineers that would like to start a sales career.


Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Meet or exceed monthly quota and revenue targets
  • Produce accurate monthly forecasts of new business opportunities and prospecting activities in CRM system
  • Prospect, identify, qualify, develop & manage sales pipeline in a defined territory/market both new (white space) prospects and existing customer base
  • Perform prospect demonstrations, as needed with Solution Engineer
  • Update sales stage and prospect interaction in CRM system
  • Up & cross sell opportunities, probe for additional contacts/projects/opportunities, close uncovered opportunity
  • Involve additional sales team members as needed to increase business
  • Develop superior customer service relationship with prospects
  • Resolve customer issues & problems; alert others as needed on red flags, cancellations.

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Energetic, upbeat, tenacious team player with a "do-what-it-takes" approach.
  • Demonstrated history of consistent goal achievement
  • Experience in a high velocity selling motion with average deal sizes <$50,000.
  • Good technical background in the IT infrastructure domain.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working within a quota and commission structure
  • Outstanding relationship-building skills with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity
  • High level Proficiency in more than one language: English and French (mandatory); German; Dutch; Italian; Spanish (nice to have)

Education

 

  • University degree required or equivalent working experience
  • At least 2 years of Software/technical sales or presales experience in the IT domain
