Job Summary
As a Client Executive (CE) for the Zurich region and the German-speaking part of Switzerland, you are the driving force behind NetApp’s growth in your territory. You take full ownership of your business, your customer portfolio, and your revenue target, with a clear mandate to acquire new customers, deepen existing relationships, and consistently outperform expectations.
Acting as a trusted advisor and strategic deal leader, you combine strong business acumen with the ability to translate technology into customer value. You position NetApp as a long-term partner for data and cloud transformation, engaging with decision-makers across all levels of the organization.
You lead from the front, orchestrating internal resources, specialist teams, and channel partners to build a strong pipeline, drive complex sales cycles, and expand NetApp’s presence across the Zurich market and the wider German-speaking Swiss region.
Job Responsibilities
- Own and grow your territory — drive pipeline, close business, and deliver predictable revenue growth
- Build deep, multi-level relationships with key stakeholders, from IT to C-level, positioning yourself as a trusted partner
- Develop and execute high-impact account strategies to unlock long-term value across enterprise customers
- Lead the full sales cycle end-to-end — from proactive prospecting and qualification to deal structuring and closing
- Act as the quarterback of every deal, orchestrating pre-sales, specialists, and partners to win complex opportunities
- Proactively generate new business through targeted outreach, networking, and partner collaboration
- Drive co-selling motions with partners, maximizing reach and accelerating deal velocity
- Expand NetApp’s ecosystem by engaging, enabling, and activating strategic partners
- Relentlessly focus on land-and-expand strategies to grow revenue within existing accounts
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of high-performance B2B sales experience, ideally in infrastructure, data center, or cloud environments
- Demonstrated track record of over-achieving quota and winning net-new business
- Strong hunter mentality with the ability to build pipeline from scratch and close deals consistently
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to influence senior decision-makers
- Highly proactive, resilient, and results-driven — you go after opportunities, you don’t wait for them
- Confident in cold outreach, prospecting, and creating momentum in competitive markets
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate technology into business value
- Solid understanding of modern compute, storage, and cloud solutions
- Established presence or network in German Speaking Switzerland
- Willingness to travel across Switzerland
- Native Swiss German speaker with fluent English
