Job Summary

NetApp® has an exciting opportunity to join its Global Accounts Pre-Sales Organization as a Global Technical Strategist (GTS) in the Life Sciences VerticalAs a GTS you will own and develop the strategic and technical sales relationship with a global life science customer in order to deliver world-class, customer centric solutions and services.

You will be leading a team of technical individuals across the globe in pre- as well as post-sales roles, orchestrating the technological and architectural strategy and development of your account.


  • Goal will be to help your customer develop a Cloud and Data Center strategy to ultimately succeed in the digital transformation.
  • Soft skills allow you to establish and maintain management level relationships within NetApp and your customer and will enable you to drive successful outcomes
  • Tech skills include an understanding of Microservices, Converged Infrastructure, Cloud Services and Automation
  • Economical skills are based around consumption, managed service and global account economics
  • Industry knowledge includes the industry disrupting challenges around mobility services, autonomous driving and cost reduction


Job Requirements
  • 5 to 8 years working experience in IT Sales (Cloud, HW or SW tech sales)
  • Enthusiasm and winning attitude – it’s okay for you to catch fire for the DataFabric during the interview - we’ll bring an extinguisher

Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering; or related field is required; a Graduate Degree is preferred.
