Job Summary

We are looking for a new leader of our Channel organisation in Switzerland, you will both lead the team and lead the engagement with our extensive channel partners across the country. NetApp are increasingly focusing on our channels to drive our business growth so this role is absolutely fundamental to the organisation in Switzerland.

Our one prerequisite for this role is that you will need to have sales as part of your DNA. The tenacity and desire to grow revenue are  the attributes that you cannot be without to succeed in this role

You will own the relationships with distributors, ISVs, integrators, VARS, and consultancies and drive our team of four to increase revenues across the board

A key part of your role will be building our partnerships and enabling our Partners to drive the growth of NetApp products from on-premise hardware to cloud data solutions.

You will also be responsible for attracting and onboarding new partners, specifically those that can support our Swiss customers on their journey to the cloud.

As NetApp build on our deep relationship with the hyperscalers you will lead the team to grow revenue through our partners by positioning NetApp as the key vendor of hybrid, multi, and pure cloud infrastructure solutions.

To truly win in this role you will need to develop a deep understanding of our partners and develop strategies to support and incentivise them to position NetApp’s products and services.

To be successful you could be an established leader of a channel business in Switzerland and know the partner landscape inside-out or you could be an experienced and over achieving enterprise sales person making a first move into people management.

An understanding of modern data center technologies would be an advantageous starting point but more important is the demonstrable ability to quickly learn new technologies and how to position them to partners and customers alike.


Job Requirements
BS/BA degree or equivalent related experience. 8+ years -- plus add additional experience requirements needed if you were to fill an open requisition, i.e., knowledge, skills, and abilities.
