Job Summary

Workplace Resources (WPR) provides essential services in supporting Corporate Real Estate strategies, Facilities Operations, Space Planning and the Business Services of the workplace.

Based in Wichita, KS the Program Manager, WPR Wichita Business Services is

responsible for managing all Business Services directly managed by NetApp and/or delivered through a contracted Vendor Service Provider network for the Wichita site. This position reports to the Wichita Site Operations Manager, Facilities Operations, WPR Americas.


In this position, you will manage locally and further develop, with continuous improvement

objectives including but not limited to the following programs:

You will ensure adherence to Contracted Service Level Agreements for all the Business Services

disciplines. You will serve as the Wichita Site primary point of contact and direct interface to the contracted Vendor Service Providers working with the Global Sourcing Services team on contract negotiations. You are responsible for ensuring that all Wichita Business Services are operational and avoid service interruptions. You are responsible for maintaining and/or optimizing the Business Services programs at the local level to ensure they are being performed cost effectively and executed in accordance to established service levels. You are responsible to track all work through NetApp’s ServiceNow platform. You will occasionally be on-call to manage emergencies on an as needed basis or to service any after-hours on-site events. 

In addition, in this position you will be required to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with the other Business Services managers in the WPR Americas Operations team to ensure consistent delivery of services while maintaining unique local practices.

  • Develop and manage Wichita specific financial budget(s) for all Business Services programs –

including rigorous fiscal oversight of the subsidy specific to the Wichita Food Program

  • Oversee business unit VSP staff to ensure successful operations
  • Act as Primary Liaison with Sunnyvale SME Program Manager(s) to ensure local service programs are in adherence to corporate governance/contracted deliverables
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Vendor Service Providers and local account Management Teams

  • Establish and manage employee feedback mechanisms including employee focal

Groups, survey tools

  • Manage conditional assessments of Fitness Center, Cafeteria and Breakroom Equipment
  • Work cross functionally with Sunnyvale Senior Business Services Program Manager in development of standards and best practices and keep abreast of local nuances that may impact programs
  • Work cross functionally with peers, middle management and senior management
  • Regularly meet with local organizational stakeholders to assess space needs and define their scope of work relative to move management
  • Create and maintain a detailed program that includes existing space utilization, occupant information, necessary adjacencies, programmatic relationships, and qualitative requirements
  • Facilitate and build relationships with multiple stakeholders to resolve issues related to planning
  • Identify and resolve facility space utilization conflicts between departments
  • Maintain occupancy reports in Centerstone and other related platforms
  • Obtain and record information for updating facilities furniture inventory




  • Minimum 5 years of relevant business, technology, continuous improvement, and program management
  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Hospitality, Facilities, or related field)
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and use technology to improve process and control
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to partner and engage with vendor service providers
  • Ability to lead, coach, facilitate and communicate with individuals across a broad range of experience and functional spectrums
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/programs simultaneously
  • Demonstrated flexibility, ability to take initiative and operate in ambiguous situations 
  • Demonstrated experience and success in managing virtual teams and motivating for high performance
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision and effectively deal with stressful situations.
  • Proficiency in a range of information technology tools and platforms
  • Long experience of effective program management. Having been a strong member of program management team(s)
  • Solid proficiency in program and project management methodology


  • Certificate in Professional Facilities Management Association(s) desired
