Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead a Product Quality Core Team performing data analysis using appropriate statistical tools and techniques to identify trends, develop technical investigation plans, and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and processes when necessary.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities, participate in investigations, analyze root causes, plan and implement corrective actions, while interfacing with cross functional departments to increase product quality.
  • Partner with hardware engineering, test engineering and program management to design effective BOM structures, develop efficient supply chain strategies, and provide feedback on manufacturing test processes during the NPI phase of a product’s life cycle.
  • Provide engineering support to manufacturing and conducts the evaluation and disposition of nonconforming product and process related issues using a risk-based approach to resolve problems with partially finished and finished product (resolve problems impacting production fulfillment).
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standards requirements.
  • Provide quarterly feedback and semi-annually audit key suppliers of contract manufacturing services.
  • This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Product Quality.

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Experience with SMT PCBA manufacturing and inspection processes involving IPC 600, 610, 630 standards required.
  • At least five years related experience supporting the production of electro-mechanical assemblies at contract manufacturers or as a customer of contract manufactures.
  • Effective communication skills both internal and external.
  • Established track record of cross functional problem solving.
  • Experience in an NPI environment with high mix/medium volume production.
  • Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Agile PDM and statistical tools such as DOE, SPC, and analysis software (Minitab).
  • Problem solving skills and use of PDCA model and the 8-D process.
  • Solid understanding of Quality standards including ISO-9001.

Colorado Residents Only: If the Company determines this role will be performed in Colorado, the starting salary for this position is $96,300. This role could be eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Paid Time off (PTO), Company bonus, Employee stock purchase plan, and restricted stocks (RSU’s) *. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors such as location, qualifications, certifications, relevant work experience and other factors, consistent with applicable law.
