Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and intentional Commercial Mid-Market Account Manager to join our dynamic team in the UK market. This is a field role with an incredible opportunity to make an impact as the business is booming around AI. The ideal candidate will manage a portfolio of 150 accounts, employing a programmatic and structured approach to drive NetApp-led initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of MEDDICC (CE, SE) methodologies, value-based selling, and achieving business outcomes through long-term account management and upskilling.

Job Requirements

  • Manage and nurture a portfolio of 150 mid-market accounts, ensuring long-term relationships and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a 100% IB touch rate in Q1, ensuring consistent and proactive communication with all accounts.
  • Hunt for new logos, aiming for 3 new business meetings (NBM) per week.
  • Implement a programmatic and structured approach to account management, ensuring alignment with NetApp-led initiatives.
  • Utilize MEDDICC (CE, SE) methodologies for client engagement and sales processes.
  • Focus on selling value and business outcomes to clients, aligning solutions with their business objectives.
  • Achieve weekly pipeline generation targets of +£250K and maintain a pipeline coverage of 4x.
  • Ensure SPARK hygiene and forecast accuracy in all sales activities.
  • Conduct 3 field visits per week to engage with clients and prospects.
  • Participate in weekly training sessions to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Education

  • Proven experience in account management and new business development within the mid-market sector.
  • Strong understanding of MEDDICC (CE, SE) methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell value and business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
