Title: Global Client Executive - Strategic Global Accounts

Job Summary
As a Global Client Executive (GCE), you will be responsible for supporting the Client Director and global sales activity within a single, large customer to achieve assigned global sales quota for that account. You will assist in the collaboration and coordination of all sales and pre-sales roles associated with the account across the world to develop and grow the NetApp business in the account. The GCE serves as a trusted advisor to the customer’s leadership and uses business acumen and technical expertise to influence customer decisions to maximize global revenue from the account.
Activities
• Collaborate with the global team to create relationship maps within the account and plans to expand depth and quality of relationships with buyers and influencers
• Help develop the global account plan and work with assigned Global Technology Specialists and downstream overlay functions to develop a long-term product/solution strategy for new and existing NetApp product lines
• Lead and coordinate the end-to-end sales cycle including pipeline generation, qualification, solution design, global pricing and quoting.
• Act as a sales orchestrator, pulling in the right experts, at the right place and right time.
• Oversee multiple concurrent sales motions (some owned by specialist sellers or even other sales roles) to ensure a customer-centric approach, while not inhibiting other sellers or specialists from hunting for opportunities
• Lead/assist partner co-selling efforts in the account.

• Is responsible for a specific geographical install base in a large, complex, high visibility, strategic and tactically important account.
Interaction:
• This individual effectively works with, and influences senior internal personnel within the function, employees in other functions that support the sales effort, and has direct customer contact.
• May successfully coordinate significant projects or initiatives across functional groups.
• Limited management supervision and direction is provided since this individual operates and drives results independently.
• The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert and strongly influences sales team decisions and initiatives.
• May potentially supervise other less senior members within same function.
Skills and Competencies
• More than 7 years of experience focusing on large global accounts. FSI experience will be helpful, but is not essential – demonstrating an ability to operate and navigate within a large, complex global account is required
• Consistent track record of exceeding quota and driving net new business.
• Ability to build strong relationships with customers and partners
• Deep understanding of the customers goals and ability to demonstrate value to clients
• Highly organized and disciplined with the ability to coordinate and lead multiple concurrent selling efforts by NetApp sales specialists and partners
• Ability to speak credibly on a variety of modern computing, storage and cloud technologies/concepts
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• Experience which demonstrates a significant level of expertise in technical specifications required to sell NetApp products and services is required.
